Lake Orion, MI – Oakland County Times is on a quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County, thanks to our pals at White Castle. Of course White Castle is our favorite fast food place! But we also enjoy being able to try new things and support local restaurants as we explore our beautiful county.
We’ve done over 500 reviews so far, including 25 in Orion Township, which includes the Village of Lake Orion as well.
From the beautiful creations at Orion Sushi, to the many pizza places (like 313, Chicago Brothers, G’s Pizzeria, and Sheldon Street), there is a lot to enjoy in Dragon Country!

Oakland County Times is on a QUEST to enjoy every local restaurant in Oakland County. This long-term project is a labor of love, supported by our friends at White Castle. With steam-grilled sliders, crispy golden french fries, fantastic slides like onion chips or fried clams, and the best chocolate shakes, White Castle is a by far our top choice for a fast food meal.
