OC Restaurant Quest: G’s Pizzeria in Lake Orion

Lake Orion, MI -The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County continues with a delicious pizza from G’s Pizzeria in Lake Orion. This is an “Up North” classic, as those traveling to Bay City, Saginaw, Oscoda, Houghton Lake, Kalkaska, E. Tawas, and West Branch may be familiar with their pizzas, and we’re lucky to also have one in Oakland County.
The perfectly textured, tasty pizza crust comes with a variety of toppings and specialty choices. For me, the Custom Arts Pizza was a wonderful pick – topped with sweet tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, spinach, whole roasted garlic cloves, onions, red peppers and fresh mushrooms. I added broccoli because vegetables are awesome, and it came in the most perfect-sized pieces.
Others include the Pepperoni Pile Up, The Scilian, The Hawaiian, The Meat Lovers, BBQ Chicken and more. There are also salad choices, like the Cobb, Antipasto and Southwest Chicken. And for those not in a pizza mood, there’s a selection of sandwiches and subs to chose from.
I also wanted to try their cauliflower crust, so I ordered the cauli mozzarella spears with a side of garlic butter. I definitely liked it.
