Valentine’s Day Options at One-Eyed Betty’s, Pop’s for Italian and Tigerlily in Ferndale
Ferndale, MI – Hometown Restaurant Group (One-Eyed Betty, Pop’s for Italian, Tigerlily) is celebrating Valentine’s Day on Friday, February 14 with several special events, including a special VIP “Be My Valentine” dinner at Tigerlily; a special Valentine’s Day menu at Pop’s for Italian, and the return of our annual Lonely Hearts Club Dinner for Uno at One-Eyed Betty’s, all in downtown Ferndale. Additionally, Hometown Restaurant Group will be selling delicious bacon bouquets by the dozen and half-dozen.

Celebrate love on Valentine’s Day at Pop’s for Italian, 280 W. 9 Mile Rd., with a limited menu designed just for the occasion. We’ve pared down our everyday menu to highlight your favorite items for this special day. Additionally, Chef Robert Mazzola has created two special features available only on Valentine’s Day: A Boursin Filet: an 8 oz filet with creamy Boursin sauce, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and spicy baby carrots; and Seafood cannelloni: house-made cannelloni filled with lobster, scallops and shrimp in a rich tomato cream sauce. In addition, Pop’s will be offering three unique Valentine’s Day drinks: The Love Potion will send you into a bubbly fog with Bumbu rum, cherry syrup, cranberry, lime juice and dry ice; Love Drunk with strawberry cotton candy, Prosecco and edible glitter; and a Chocolate-covered Raspberry, with Valentine’s vodka, chocolate liquor, raspberry liquor, vanilla and half & half. Forget the “couple’s only” specials and join us at One-Eyed Betty’s for our fourth annual Lonely Heart’s Dinner. Chef John Pastore has created a special prix fixe menu for one, with your choice from two delicious appetizers, one of three entrees, dessert and choice of one of two special Valentine’s Day cocktails — all for $50. This meal starts with your choice of Spinach Strawberry Salad or Tuna Tartare served in a crispy wonton bowl. Main entree choices include four-cheese tortellini topped with lobster in a creamy lobster sauce; Roasted Acorn Squash stuffed with mushroom risotto; or a 10 oz pork chop with green beans and mashed potatoes. Tickets to this special Be My Valentine cocktail dinner include a chef-curated four- course dinner and cocktail pairings. Presented in our intimate tiki lounge, this dinner for two includes Octopus Sunomono Bite hors d’oeuvre, followed by a carrot-ginger salad paired with champagne. The main includes your choice of marinated pork chop with house-made kimchi and miso applesauce; Duck Tataki with smoked pomegranate and balsamic reduction, Asian pear and beet-parsnip puree; or Salmon Roulade with onion brûlée, soy pearls and forbidden rice; paired with a “Be My Valentine” cocktail with blanco tequila, triple sec, strawberry puree, lime juice and Prosecco.
