OC Restaurant Quest: Cafe ML in Bloomfield Hills

Bloomfield Hills, MI -The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County continues with a carryout meal from Cafe ML in Bloomfield Hills. This snazzy cafe has crafty, eclectic food offerings.

I had the Bourbon Walnut Chicken with faro-mushroom risotto, delicata squash, dried cranberries, roasted Brussels sprouts, and a bourbon-walnut glaze. The meal was presented beautifully and the mix of flavors and textures made for a hearty feast.

I also ordered the Baked Feta appetizer which had feta cheese with olives and toasted pine nuts, served with triangles of pita bread. For dessert I had Chocolate Cake topped with chocolate ganache and a strawberry with some blueberries.

The menu has other interesting options, like Korean Fried Chicken with creamy cucumbers and crushed cashews or Great Lakes Walleye with grilled fingerling potatoes, grape tomatoes, capers, baby spinach, artichoke hearts and garlie white wine.

There is also a Crab Cake Burger with pickled green tomatoes, Tabasco remoulade, romaine, and house cut fries. Their “Spaghetti” and Meatballs is made with roasted spaghetti squash, marinara, and turkey meatballs topped with whipped ricotta and feta.

In addition to the chocolate cake, Cafe ML has ricotta cheesecake, peanut butter chocolate mousse pie, and Ray’s Ice Cream. They also have dessert wine and coffee cocktails to end the meal.
