Pontiac Hosting Community Engagement Sessions on Redrawing of District Lines

Pontiac, MI -Pontiac City Council invites you to these upcoming Community Engagement Session opportunities about the required redrawing of Council District lines. The voters of Pontiac recently approved a new City Charter that changes the number of Council Districts from seven to six. The new Charter tasks the current Council with deciding on the future Council’s new district lines.
Two Public Hearings have been held with community feedback received, and now we have these community engagement sessions for Pontiac residents to share thoughts and questions about the proposed maps and the process.
