Oakland County Expands Free Rides for Veterans Through September

Oakland County, MI – Oakland County has recently expanded the free “This Ride’s On Us” door-to-door public transportation service through September 2025.
This free #OaklandTransit program gets veterans to essential locations and helps them connect with their community members and reclaim their independence.

People’s Express (PEX)Interested residents may schedule rides by calling 248-419-7984 and providing proof of service, such as DD214 discharge papers or a veteran ID.
