Seven Lakes State Park Re-Opens Jan 1

Holly, MI – Seven Lakes State Park is re-opening Jan. 1 after several months of being closed for road repaving and other improvements.

The re-opening was announced on Facebook, with the Seven Lakes State Park account sharing “Happy (almost) New Year! Starting at 8am on January 1st, the park will once again be open to vehicle traffic! Please be advised that the shoulders of the road are very soft and muddy. At no time are vehicles allowed to park on roadsides or road shoulders – parking is only permitted in designated parking lots.

A note on camping reservations for 2025 – we are waiting on final inspection approval to open reservations. Our hope is to have reservations open by the end of January, but this is not a set date at this time.

Projects include repaving of most roads, all new electrical system for the campground, and shelters replaced.
