OC Restaurant Quest: The Hideout Sports Bar in Clawson

Clawson, MI – The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County continues with a visit to Clawson to The Hideout Sports Bar, located on 14 Mile, east of Crooks.
The Hideout has a long bar with lots of TVs and beverage choices, as well as a number of tables and booths.
For my visit, I ordered an appetizer of potato skins, topped with cheese and bacon, served with sour cream. I also ordered the chicken pot pie, which is a seasonal favorite. This perfect cold-weather meal has a creamy, soupy base with veggies and chicken, topped with a fluffy pastry sheet. It was a great meal, in a friendly atmosphere that especially sports fans would love.
The Hideout has typical sports bar items like nachos, chicken strips, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, breaded mushrooms and more appetizers.
There’s also a section of salads, including the Signature Salad which has marinated chicken breast, bacon, bleu cheese, onions, tomatoes, and croutons. Another example is the Greek Salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, beets, yellow peppers, onions, Greek olives, and feta. There are burgers, sandwiches, and wraps as well as a section for Italian Delights like chicken parmsean and tortellini.
