OC Restaurant Quest: Uncle Andy’s Pizza in Berkley and Farmington

Berkley, Farmington, MI – On a cold winter night a nice hot pizza can hit the spot. Recently I decided to give Uncle Andy’s a try, ordering a BLT pizza from the Berkley location at 12 Mile and Woodward. There’s also one in Farmington.
The pizza had the kind of crust I like, nice and soft with crispy bubbles. With bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and Parmesan sprinkled on the crust, this was a delicious pizza.
Uncle Andy’s also has grinders so I got a ham and cheese one that I absolutely loved. The ham was thick and juicy, the cheese was all warm and melty, and the bread was delicious. Much of it I saved in the fridge overnight for an easy lunch the next day.
Other pizza options include the BBQ chicken, meat delight, spice lovers, Hawaiian, chicken fajita and more. Plus guests can create their own from a list of toppings that include Mike’s Hot Honey Drizzle, garlic, jalapeno, anchovies, ground beef, spinach and more.
There’s also a list of choices for grinders, like the cheese steak grinder made with beef, cheese, mushrooms, and onion. They even have party size grinders.
