OC Restaurant Quest: Westside Family Dining in Novi

Novi, MI – The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County continues with a visit to Westside Family Dining in Novi for breakfast.
I had the Miller Omelette, made with bacon, onion, mushroom, and Swiss cheese. Patrons have a choice of hash browns or American fries. The American fries were sliced super thin, making a very delicious side. The omelette was good as well.
I also noticed a delicious looking cake in the case near the entrance which I wanted to show off as well.
It was a slice of lemon cake with blueberries in it. Other omelette choices include the gyro supreme omelette, the vegetarian, the farmers omelette, and the western omelette. They also have a pork chop breakfast, homemade corned beef hash, and a grilled chicken breast breakfast.
Westside Family Dining also has lunch and dinner options, including burgers, pitas, and sandwiches. The chicken melt sandwich has marinated chicken breast and grilled onions. The Italian Philly steak sub has grilled onion, green pepper, lettuce, tomato, mayo and Swiss. And there are dinners like pork chops, veal cutlets, and Italian dishes like mostaccioli and spaghetti.
The restaurant has a number of comfy booths in an open atmosphere with lots of windows, plus carryout is available.
