OSCO’s Orion Substation Collecting Donations for Shop with a Hero Program

Orion Township, MI- The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office – Orion Substation is collecting donations for their upcoming Shop with a Hero program. This program provides kids in the local area who may not otherwise have a festive holiday with a shopping spree at Meijer to buy toys, clothes, gifts for family members, and other items.
The Deputies could use a little help from the community – the department doesn’t like to turn away a child who qualifies for Shop with a Hero, and resources are limited.
The shopping event will take place on December 4.
You can help by making a monetary or Meijer gift card donation. Drop off donations at the Orion Substation.
