Waterford Schools Narrows Superintendent Candidates to Two, Interviews Oct 28

Waterford, MI- The Waterford School District Board of Education has announced the two candidates invited back for second-round interviews for the open superintendent position. Waterford School District has also scheduled community meet and greets for each candidate prior to the second-round interviews. The schedule for each candidate is as follows:
Matt Wandrie, Ed.S., Superintendent, Lapeer Community Schools, MI
4 p.m. Community Meet & Greet
6 p.m. Second-Round Interview
Thomas Ahart, Ed.D., Consultant, Superintendent (former), Des Moines Public Schools, IA
5 p.m. Community Meet & Greet
7:15 p.m. Second-Round Interview
Both the interviews and community meet and greets will be held at the Crary Campus, 501 N Cass Lake Rd, Waterford Twp, MI, 48328. Staff and the community are encouraged to attend. There will be an opportunity to fill out interview feedback forms after each of the interviews. Copies of the feedback forms will be presented to the board. Interviews will also be live-streamed and available for replay on the WSD YouTube Channel @wsdnews. All updates will be posted on the WSD Superintendent Search page.
