OC Restaurant Quest: Lucky’s Prime Time in Rochester Hills

Rochester Hills, MI – The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County continues with a carryout meal from Lucky’s Prime Time in Rochester Hills. Lucky’s is owned by Lucky Vasilakis who also owns Lucky’s Steakhouse in locations in Gaylord, Midland, Bay City, Clio, Okemos, Davison, Imlay City, and Fenton.
The Rochester Hills location began as a Greek family restaurant in 1986, but when Lucky and Alicia Vasilakis were able to get a liquor license in 2013 they decided to make the change, with drinks and top quality steaks to welcome more customers in.
For my visit I went for the Gorgonzola Ribeye, a 16 oz cut covered in sauteed mushrooms, grilled onions, and Gorgonzola cheese. This came perfectly cooked and full of flavor. This comes with a choice of sides. I picked the House Salad and Potato Au Gratin. Other options include Redskin Mashed Potatoes, Garlic Green Beans, Creamy Spinach, Cottage Fries, Jumbo Baked Potato, Baked Sweet Potato, Steak Cut Onion Rings, Steamed Broccoli and more.
I also got a delicious order of Brussels Sprouts, topped with bacon, Parmesan, and Balsamic vinaigrette. I also ordered the Key Lime Pie, which was a square of lime flavored fluff with a graham cracker crust.
Lucky’s, of course, specializes in steak, including the Ribeye, Porterhouse, and NY Strip. There are also Lamb Chops, Lobster, Chargrilled Salmon, Fish and Chips and more. There are even burgers on the menu.
