OC Restaurant Quest: Maggiano’s Little Italy in Troy

Troy, MI – The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County continues with a meal from Maggiano’s Little Italy in Troy. Maggiano’s is a national chain, but they only have the one location in Michigan.
I ordered a meal delivered of the Famous Rigatoni D. This is the number one most liked item on Doordash. It’s made with herb-roasted chicken, roasted mushrooms, caramelized onion, and marsala cream. This mildly flavored dish had nice quality mushrooms and an ample supply of pasta.
I also ordered the side size Maggiano’s Salad, which is made with smoked bacon, red onion, blue cheese, and house dressing.
For dessert I had a beautiful cake topped with mixed berries that was delicious.
There are other Italian dishes on the menu, with classics like Four Cheese Ravioli, Spaghetti and Meatball, and Mom’s Lasagna. Other options include Shrimp Fra Diavolo, Grilled Branzino, Prince Edward Island Steamed Mussels Tuscan, and steaks like Bone-in Ribeye and Center Cut Filet Mignon.
