Nov 5 Ballot: Wixom Voters to Decide on Road and Street Funding
Wixom, MI – Voters in Wixom are being asked to vote on road and street funding in the Nov. 5, 2024 election.
Shall the City of Wixom City Charter Section 9.2 be amended to terminate the current millage of 1.15 mills for local street maintenance on June 30, 2025, and approve a millage of up to 2.5 mills (which is equal to up to $2.50 per $1,000 of taxable v alue) to be levied for ten (10) years, commencing July 1 2025, and effective through and including July 1, 2034, for the sole and exclusive purpose of providing additional revenues for routine and ongoing local and major road and street maintenance in the City?
