OC Restaurant Quest: Lorenzo’s Pizza in Commerce, Grand Blanc, and Keego Harbor

Commerce Township, Grand Blanc, and Keego Harbor, MI – The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County continues with a pizza and wings from Lorenzo’s Pizza. I got mine from the Keego Harbor spot, and there are also locations in Commerce Township and Grand Blanc.
There are a number of specialty pizzas to choose from, or one can build their own. That’s what I did, ordering bacon and green olives for a mouth-watering mix of flavors. The dough was in the middle, not too thin and not too thick, and not a lot of grease. And the sauce was robust and tangy with traditional Italian flavor.
Make your own from a list of toppings, that includes jalapeno peppers, ground beef, pineapple, tomatoes, chicken, fresh mushrooms, pepperoni and more.
Specialty pizzas include pickle pizza, margherita, veggie, Hawaiian, and the Sofia which is made with bacon, salami, mild peppers, and feta. The same toppings can be used to custom-create a fresh baked grinder.
Lorenzo’s also offers up chicken wings with a choice of sauce and dipping sauce. I had the BBQ wings with ranch, which were made with breading and lots of sauce.
There are also salads like the the garden salad, the antipasto, and the Greek.
