OC Restaurant Quest: Albert’s Coney Grill in Auburn Hills

Auburn Hills, MI – Albert’s Coney Grill in Auburn Hills, with it’s location on Featherstone Road near Opdyke, is a perfect location to serve up quick and filling meals for workers in the area, guests to local hotels, and area families.
In my quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County, I gave Albert’s a shot for breakfast and for lunch.
Breakfast was a very sweet treat – Cinnamon Roll Pancakes. Not only did these indulgent pancakes come topped with cinnamon frosting, the batter itself had spots of cinnamon filling inside.
For lunch I had the two piece fish and chips. There is a three piece meal available as well. The fish was crispy and delicious and I loved the thick cut fries dipped in tarter sauce.
For breakfast Albert’s serves up combinations with eggs and meats, as well as a list of omelette choices including Spinach and Swiss, Meat Lover’s, and a Chicken Omelette. The Healthy Omelette is made with egg whites, avocado, broccoli and cheese. Plus there is a Club Omelette made with turkey, bacon, Swiss, and tomatoes.
For lunch and dinner there are a number of choices, including stir fry dishes, country fried steak, chicken kabob, tuna melts, Reuben sandwich, coney dogs and more. There is even a nice selection of salads, including Hawaiian chicken salad, Chef’s salad, Gyro salad, and Michigan Cherry salad.
