Sept 28 – Sherlock Holmes Film Festival at Berkley Library
Berkley, MI – The Berkley Library is hosting the Sherlock Holmes Film Festival on Sept. 28, Presented by Ribston-Pippins from 11am to 3pm.
This year’s lineup includes a cartoon, “Deduce, You Say”, which has Daffy Duck as a Holmes character. Next it’s “Hound of the Baskervilles” starring Basil Rathbone. After a short break, we’ll show Wishbone in “The Slobbery Hound,” which is based on the Hound of the Baskervilles. Next will be “A Scandal in Bohemia” starring Jeremy Brett. Following that will be “The Case of the Cunningham Heritage” starring Ronald Howard and lastly, if we have time, we’ll include “Sherlock Pink”, which is a Pink Panther cartoon.
The Ribston-Pippins, a scion society of the Baker Street Irregulars, has been active in the area for nearly 36 years.
