Sept 26 – Terra Voce Ensemble Chamber Music Concert at Berkley First
Berkley, MI – Enjoy a Chamber Music Concert with The Terra Voce Ensemble at Berkley First (2920 Twelve Mile Rd.) on Thursday, September 26 at 7:00 p.m.
Starting with a Slavonic Dance by Antonin Dvorak, the concert will take the listener on a musical journey. Classical works from the 19th century Romantic tradition as well as expressive pieces by contemporary composers will be performed.
The program will conclude with “Abgang and Kaddish” by award-winning composer Ellen Taafe Zwillich. This powerful work expresses varied images from German concentration camps, ending in a beautiful prayer.
