OC Restaurant Quest: China Express in Sylvan Lake

Sylvan Lake, MI – The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County continues with a visit to China Express in Sylvan Lake.
For my visit I had a combo meal where I selected the Almond Chicken and the the Steak Kow with chicken fried rice on the side. The steak kow had a nice rich flavor and lots of hearty veggies. The Almond Chicken was crispy and buttery with plenty of breading and golden gravy.
I got the chicken egg rolls to give them a try, as well as the crab cheese appetizer which was my favorite. I love those little star-shaped crisp pastries with a creamy crab and cream cheese mix in the middle.
China Express has a menu full of Chinese favorites like Sweet and Sour Chicken, Curry Vegetables, Szechuan Shrimp, Beef with Broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken and so much more.
