Keego Harbor Asks Residents to Report Service Line Materials by Aug 30
(Oakland County Times, Aug. 22, 2024)
Keego Harbor, MI- Residents in Keego Harbor are being asked to check their water service lines. Here is the request sent out by the City:
Please check your service line and submit TODAY! Responses are being taken up to Aug. 30. Information collected will be sent to Oakland County to use to support the City’s Complete Distribution System Materials Inventory.
The City of Keego Harbor and the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner value water quality and safety. Therefore, we are working together to comply with new requirements to provide the State of Michigan with an updated material inventory of all water service lines.
Your water service line carries drinking water from the water main, typically located in or near the street, to inside your home. To confirm the accuracy of our existing service line material information across the City’s water system, we are requesting your help in checking your service line material in your basement.
We have set up a website to provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to determine your water service line material, as well as submit photos.
The process should take only a few minutes and is easy for anyone to do. We recommend using a phone or tablet, but it can be done from any computer. Thank you very much for your assistance.
