The Royal Oak Farmers Market is set to host the eagerly anticipated return of the Chutney Festival on Friday, August 23, from 4 pm to 11 pm. As Michigan’s largest South Asian and West Indian Street Food Festival, this event promises an even more enriching experience than its successful debut last year, complete with an after party from 10 pm to 2 am at a secret location.
This year, the festival offers an enhanced VIP experience that includes expedited entry, access to a VIP Lounge, complimentary food samples from top vendors, two free drink tickets, and exclusive chair massages available from 6 pm to 9 pm. VIP ticket holders will also receive a Chutney Festival Keepsake to commemorate their experience. Additionally, VIPs enjoy access to both the general afterparty and an exclusive VIP-only afterparty, offering a more intimate setting to continue the celebration.
The general festival will continue to dazzle with its live Dosa Station, where attendees can watch dosas being made fresh. The event also features an array of performances, yoga and meditation sessions, vibrant henna artistry, and dynamic live DJ sets.
