Rochester’s Snowman Stroll Starts Dec 1 – Artists Invited to Submit Designs
Rochester, MI – They’re back!!! This holiday season, Downtown Rochester will once again
host the Snowman Stroll, a public art event featuring 5’ fiberglass snowman along Main Street, designed by local
artists and sponsored by local businesses. The Snowman Stroll will debut on December 1, 2024.
“The Snowmen have become a true holiday tradition”, stated Kristi Trevarrow, Executive Director of the Rochester
Downtown Development Authority (DDA). “With Downtown Rochester’s reputation as the go-to place to celebrate the
holidays, we are excited to bring a new flurry of Snowmen to Main Street again this year.”
Downtown Rochester is currently seeking artists to submit designs for the Snowman Stroll. If an artist’s design is
selected by the committee, the artist will receive a $1,000 honorarium to execute their snowman design.
