Aug 13 – Produce Drive to Help Families in Highland Twp Area
Highland Highland Township, MI – Share your summer produce to help local families in need. As part of a Girl Scout Silver Award Project, local student Avery Holdsworth is asking those with farms and gardens to help by bringing extra fruits and vegetables to Community Sharing on Aug 13 from 6 to 8 pm.
Area residents are encouraged to drop off fresh produce (either excess from their gardens or purchased) and bring to the drive, which will then be handed out to the hundreds of patrons of the food pantry the same night.
