OC Restaurant Quest: Beau’s Grillery in Bloomfield Hills

Bloomfield Hills, MI – The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County continues with a carryout from Beau’s Grillery in Bloomfield Hills. This upscale restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and high quality food with experience and comfort in mind.
I ordered the grilled salmon, which is coated with perfectly salty seasoning and prepared on a wood-fired grill. It’s served with a yogurt dill sauce and I paired it with smashed yukons.
I also ordered the mac and cheese which is made with four different cheeses, soubise, and toasted bread crumbs. This was very rich and flavorful, definitely not your typical mac.
I ended with an order of bread pudding, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream – a classic dessert.
I also picked up a Maurice salad which made a perfect lunch the next day. This feast of a salad had lettuce topped with cubes of ham and roasted turkey, plus Swiss cheese, olives, eggs, pickles, and Maurice dressing.
Beau’s has a number of other tasty-sounding meal options, like Chilean sea bass, shrimp scampi, steaks and lamb chops, and a basic Beau’s burger. For appetizers one might enjoy the hummus with lamb, Cajun wings, crispy Asian ribs, or the crab cake. And for dessert the chocolate mousse cake or the warm carrot cake can also be good choices.
