Six People Shot at Party in Lathrup Village

Lathrup Village, MI – On, 06/15/2024 at approximately 12:20 a.m., The Lathrup Village Police Department was dispatched to the 17000 block of Margate Ave for a shooting with several victims who sustained gunshot wounds.
Officers arrived, and with the assistance of Southfield Police Department were quickly able to secure the scene and render aid to the victims.
In total, there were six young adults shot. Four of them sustained wounds that were not life-threatening. Two of them were shot multiple times and are in critical condition at a local hospital and are expected to survive.
At this time, the LVPD does not have an update on the condition of the two victims critically injured.
