Ferndale Seeks Public Input on Recreation Facility at Martin Road Park, Meeting June 4
Ferndale, MI – Ferndale is in the process of planning a new recreation center, and is seeking public input. A Facebook event explains:
A new chapter is here, and we need your help writing the story.
We are beyond thrilled to announce that we are in the very, verrrrrrry early stages of conceptualizing a brand-new recreation facility at Martin Road Park. This story cannot continue without you, so please save the date and join us for a vision casting meeting at the Curling Club at Martin Road Park on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. Please keep in mind that this is strictly a concept meeting to brainstorm ideas and understand the community’s wants and needs. Even though our Parks and Recreation Department has been diligently working to secure us over $2 million in grant funding, ultimately, the remaining funding source is yet to be determined. This will be the first of three meetings to attend and share your voice. We can’t do this without you.
The event takes place June 4 at 6pm at the Detroit Curling Club, located at Martin Road Park.
