Detroit Zoo’s New Branding – Including Water Tower Wrap – Revealed

Royal Oak, MI – The Detroit Zoo has a new look – with a logo designed for versatility and showcasing the animals that are stars of the park. With the “oo”s making a frame, the logo can easily be changed to feature different animals while still maintaining a consistent outline.
Dignitaries from around Metro Detroit gathered in Royal Oak for the big reveal. A miniature version of the water tower shows the design which should be installed within the next week on the iconic water tower at the zoo property at Woodward and I-696. The website has a new look as well, with variations of the logo and animals peeking out of it.
Also at the park, is a giant logo art installation where people can sit on the benches in the “oo”s or even climb inside for some more fun pics.
