Domestic Dispute Ends in Murder-Suicide

Pontiac, MI – An ongoing domestic dispute led to the deaths Sunday of two Pontiac residents.
Oakland County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 1200 block of Maurer approximately 5:35 p.m. on Sunday.
A caller to 911 reported that two people were deceased in the residence.
Upon their arrival, deputies discovered that a man and a woman were deceased and lying in the hallway of the residence. A handgun and two spent shell casings were found near the man’s hand on the hallway floor.
The woman was identified as Charnae Jenkins, 33. The man was identified as Alvin Dewayne Hall Jr., 29.
Detectives learned Jenkins and Hall had an ongoing domestic dispute. Hall was identified as having fired the fatal shots. The incident remains under investigation.
