OC Restaurant Quest: Atam’s Pizza and Wings in Rochester Hills

Rochester Hills, MI – In this quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County, I’ve had a lot of pizza. And most of it is genuinely delicious. But every so often I’ll try something that makes my taste buds so happy that I crave it – that when I think of pizza moving forward, that is the pizza my brain remembers. And that, dear readers, is the buffalo ranch chicken pizza from Atam’s Pizza and Wings in Rochester Hills.
I ordered it on square dough, though round, thin-crust, New York style, and gluten free are also available. Atam’s is an Halal restaurant, meaning that food is prepared to religious standards and does not contain pork products.
The Buffalo Ranch Chicken pizza has Atam’s ranch, precious mozzarella, grilled chicken, beef bacon, and red onions drizzled with a mild buffalo sauce. The contrast of the cool ranch and tangy but also buttery flavor of the buffalo sauce worked well to awaken by sense of taste. it was the kind of flavor that lingers and leaves you wanting more. Just a really great pizza, with high-quality flavorful cheese and nice soft dough. Kudos for being among my favorites.
I also ordered the cinnamon sticks, which had the same quality dough, just topped with cinnamon and a side of frosting.
Other specialty pizza selections include the Tandoori Lover Pizza made with Tandoori sauce, mozzarella, tandoori chicken, green pepper, onion, and cilantro, and the Philly Steak pizza made with pizza sauce, mozzarella, steak, green pepper and onion. Guests can also design their own.
In addition to pizza, Atam’s has boneless wings with a variety of sauces that includes Mango Habanero, Cajun, Sweet Red Chili, BBQ and more. There are also a variety of rice platters, quesadillas, gyros, salads, and burgers.
For example, there is the Naga Burger made with Pepper Jack cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, jalapenos, and Naga sauce. The Meat Lover Burger comes topped with American cheese, pepperoni, bacon, grilled onion, and Atams sauce.
