Holly Area Veterans Resource Center Finds Home
(Crystal A. Proxmire, April 18, 2024)
Holly, MI – When the Holly Area Veterans Resource Center learned they had to move because their current building was going to be torn down, they turned to the community to help. And finally they are excited to announce their new location – inside The Holly Church of the Nazarene.
Holly Area Veterans Resource Center is in its 10th years of helping veterans with their questions and issues. There are also ongoing veterans projects, which will not be affected by the move.
“We are also continuing our Home Town Heroes project. If you know someone who is going into the service or coming out of the service, contact us and we will organize an event at the Home Town Hero’s Tree in front of Holly Elementary. Our Vet-to-Vet Dinner will continue at the American Legion Post on the rd Monday of every month and starts at 5:30 with a free meal. Veterans and their families are welcome. Come see us at our new location,” said a statement from HAVRC.
The Holly Naz Church is located at 961 E. Maple Street in Holly. The church is east of KRC on the north side of the road. There is a red bus in the parking lot.”
