One Dead, Two Injured in Shooting at North Hill Farms Apartments in Pontiac

Pontiac, MI- The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for an early morning shooting that left one dead and two others injured.
At approximately 12:26 this morning sheriff’s deputies on routine patrol in the City of Pontiac were dispatched to the North Hill Farms Apartment Complex on reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, deputies secured the scene and discovered three male victims had been struck by gunfire. Two males in their 20’s appeared to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries to their lower extremities while the third victim, a 24-year-old male resident of the City of Pontiac, was found unresponsive with what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to the head.
Deputies, along with EMS, immediately initiated life saving measures on the 24-year-old male without success. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene.
EMS personnel transported the other victims to McLaren Hospital where they were treated and have since been released.
Witnesses on scene advised investigators that there had been a party in the parking lot of the complex and an argument had ensued.
The Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) responsible for this morning’s shooting.
“We are looking for assistance in locating the individual(s) that committed this cowardly and despicable violent act by shooting into a crowd. The only way we can stop senseless violence is when people speak up. You can be anonymous, and a reward is possible” Sheriff Bouchard said.
