OC Restaurant Quest: Anna’s House in Milford and Other Locations

Milford, MI – Oakland County Times is on a quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County, and our most recent dining adventure took us to Anna’s House in Milford. There are several locations across the state, but they are spread apart enough that each feels like a local gem.
The one in Milford is just darling. The walls are robin’s egg blue and adorned with local artwork, classic car ads, and adorable retro kitchenware. The booths are colorfully patterned. The staff is friendly. And the food was equally delightful. They pay attention to the details, right down to the custom-branded ketchup bottles.
I ordered the Anna’s Skillet, a hearty bowl with thick cubes of ham, fresh chopped onion, green pepper, mushroom, redskin potatoes, and tomato topped with cheddar, green onion, and two eggs made to order. I ordered mine over medium, so the yolk could mix with all the ingredients. It also comes with toast and there are lots of choices for that, including English Muffin, Texas Toast, Multi-Seed Keto Toast, and Biscuit. I had Cinnamon Toast.
Anna’s House is also known for their sweet selections, including the Anna’s Cinnamon Roll. This monster of a roll is sliced in half and stuffed with a cinnamon cream cheese frosting, with even more frosting on top. Other sweet selections include the Chocolate Quinoa Breakfast Bowl, Anna’s Belgian Waffle, and Candied Pecan and Banana French Toast.
Other Anna’s House choices include Corned Beef and Hash, Biscuits and Gravy, plus a selection of Omelettes and bowls. Though breakfast is their specialty, Anna’s House does offer sandwiches, including the Big BLT, the Chicken Quesadilla, and and the Anna’s Burger.
Anna’s House has locations in Grand Rapids, Grandville, Holland, Kalamazoo, Ann Arbor, Okemos, Grand Haven, and Milford. There is easy online ordering available at https://annashouseus.com/.
