Huron Valley State Bank Celebrates Soup-er Bowl Drive Success
(Oakland County Times, March 14, 2024)
Milford, Highland Twp, MI – Huron Valley State Bank recently announced the success of their annual “Soup-er Bowl” drive, benefiting the Open Door Outreach Center.
Throughout February, bank employees rallied together to collect donations, resulting in an impressive tally of over 230 cans of soup to support families in need within the community.
The initiative, named “Soup-er Bowl,” commenced the week leading up to the Super Bowl, inviting both employees and community members to participate by predicting the game’s winning team through soup donations.
Employees and customers could cast their votes by placing cans of soup representing their chosen team into collection baskets stationed at the Milford and Highland branches, as well as the Financial Center.
