Construction on Waldon Road in Orion/Independence Twps to Begin March 8
Orion Township, MI – Please see the updates below for traffic impacts on Waldon Rd. between Clintonville Rd. and Baldwin Rd.
•Construction will resume along Waldon Rd. from East of Montclair Dr. to Clintonville with the closure of Waldon Rd. to through traffic on Friday, March 8th, 2024.
•Starting Monday, March 11th, 2024 the Contractor will implement a hard closure of Waldon Rd. on the Independence Township side to install a permanent culvert under the roadway.
oAccess to residences East of the closure point will be maintained from Baldwin Rd. and West of the closure point from Clintonville Rd.
oThis closure is anticipated to last approximately 1 week.
•Following the culvert installation the Contractor will resume construction work from the end of pavement placed in 2023 and progress West toward Clintonville.
•Periodic delays with flag control are to be expected during Construction operations.
