Man and Woman in Mercedes Sought by Keego Harbor Police After Hit and Run of Waitress

Keego Harbor, MI – Keego Harbor Police are seeking information about a hit and run. They released the following information:
The Keego Harbor Police Department is asking for help identifying the driver and vehicle pictured that was involved in an intentional hit & run of a pedestrian in Keego Harbor.
On Friday, February 16, 2024 at approximately 7:40 p.m. the vehicle’s occupants, a white male and white female, in their mid to late 50’s were inside El Camino Restaurant at 2807 Orchard Lake Road in Keego Harbor. The occupants had a dispute over the service and food and left the restaurant without paying their full bill.
They entered the pictured vehicle, a dark colored Mercedes, 4 door sedan with a possible partial license plate of DY9003. As they started to drive away a server from the restaurant ran out to confront them. According to the server the couple laughed at her when she told them they had to pay the rest of their bill. The vehicle was stopped as she was standing in front of it. The driver backed up and maneuvered to drive around her. She placed herself in front of the vehicle again at which time the driver knocked her down with the vehicle, ran over her legs and proceeded to flee southwest bound on Orchard Lake Road towards the city of Orchard Lake.
The server was transported to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
Suspect Vehicle Description has been updated to a:
2005-2009 Mercedes C-Class with later generation wheels.
