March 6 – Berkley Library Presentation on Life Well Spent Walking in the Woods and Sleeping on the Ground
Berkley, MI – In his final presentation, local travel and outdoor author Jim DuFresne will highlight his best adventures from a life of wandering the wilderness, ranging from the mountains of New Zealand and glaciated bays of Alaska to Michigan’s own Isle Royale National Park.
Jim will be wrapping up his 40-year career having written more than 20 titles including Isle Royale National Park: Foot Trails & Water Routes, Tramping in New Zealand, The Trails of M-22, Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, and 50 Hikes In Michigan.
