Feb 10 – Flip Flop Festival Fundraiser in Ortonville
Ortonville, MI – Slip into the spirit of summer–in the heart of winter!
Featuring live music from Jimmy Buffett Tribute/Trop Rock Band The Leaky Tikis Paradise Band, food from JBs BBQ, tropical drinks (adult & kid-friendly!), prizes for the most festive Flip Flopper (best dressed), a hula hoop contest, limbo, a 50/50 raffle, and a scavenger hunt through town.
Proceeds will go toward the Ortonville Farmers Market programs and expenses, such as:
1) Weekly kids programming
2) Food accessibility programs for SNAP users and senior citizens
3) Infrastructure updates such as tents, signage, and seating
4) Nutrition and community programs
5) Entertainment & demonstrations
