Holly Kiwanis Grateful for NOCFA Donation, Looking Forward to Next Fundraiser
(Crystal A. Proxmire, Jan. 14, 2024)
Holly, MI – Firefighters from North Oakland County Fire Authority spend a weekend in December standing at the corner of Grange Hall Road and Saginaw collecting donations in firefighter boots.
The money donated by drivers helped the first responders in charity efforts. They picked four families to give a Merry Christmas to, and they donated $2,000 to Kiwanis for their community efforts.
Kiwanis helps local families in need, including with utility and rent assistance. They also support local events like the Holly fireworks and Blues, Brews, and Barbeque. And they provide scholarships for graduating seniors.
