Jan 6 – Royal Oak Library Presents Possums 101 with Motor City Possum Rescue
Royal Oak, MI – Learn all about the only marsupial in all of North America, and how we can peacefully co-exist – and even aid them – with Motor City Possum Rescue! Some may consider them a menace, but possums are not only fascinating creatures but they’re invaluable to the ecosystem (and we think they’re pretty cute to boot). You’ll then get a chance to meet one of these lovely rescued critters!
Cyndi Russ from the animal rehabilitation group Motor City Possum Rescue will be talking about how to peacefully co-exist with our furry neighbors, and methods for humane eviction of wildlife should you ever find a flourishing family of possums living in your attic, or discover an injured animal alone in your backyard.
