Kitten Rescued From Tree by Rochester Hills Firefighters

Rochester Hills, MI – Firefighters in Rochester Hills performed a special rescue Saturday night, as they saved a kitten that was stuck in a tree.
The rescue happened at about 8:30pm on December 9 at the Cider Mill Village Apartments, in the 1500 block of Goldrush.The white cat with black spots was illumined by the glow of green Christmas lights.
Lt. Derek Gardner and Firefighter/Paramedic Brendt Stanich were able to use the ladder truck to safely remove the tiny kitten. The animal did not appear to have a home, and was taken to nearby Animal Emergency Center in Rochester to be evaluated, cleaned up, and put up for adoption.
