OC Restaurant Quest – Marco’s Pizza

Highland, Royal Oak, Troy, Waterford, and Wixom, MI – While our focus is on local restaurants, there’s no denying the value of locally-owned franchises to communities, especially when their pizza is just so darn good. Marco’s Pizza has locations in Highland, Royal Oak, Troy, Waterford, and Wixom.
My recent order of “The Philly” from the Waterford location was fabulous. The super soft crust had melty white cheese sauce piled high with tender shaved steak, marinated mushrooms, and freshly sliced green peppers and onions. It was perfect.
Customers can build their own, or select from a number of specialty pizzas. The Hawaiian Chicken has Ham, grilled chicken, bacon, pineapple. The White Cheesy has Bacon, onions, sliced tomatoes, feta, and garlic Parmesan sauce. And the Pepperoni Magnificao features two kinds of pepperoni.
For those avoiding bread, there are pizza bowls made with all the best toppings. Marco’s also has calzones, subs, salads, and boneless wings. Consider ending your meal with CinnaSquares or a Double Chocolate Brownie.
