Ferndale Police Nab Bank Robbery Suspect

Ferndale, MI – On November 20th, at approximately 11:04 a.m. Ferndale police officers responded to Huntington Bank, located at 306 W. 9 Mile Rd, on the report of a bank robbery in progress.
The suspect passed the teller a note demanding money and implied he had a weapon. A large amount of cash was taken, but the suspect was taken into custody while he was still in the bank.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident and the money was recovered.
No one was injured during the robbery. The investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending review by the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office.
