Oakland County Restaurant Quest: SkyBox Sports Grill in Highland

Highland, MI – The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County continues with a visit to SkyBox Sports Bar in Highland. I ordered the personal-size BLT pizza, which was still a lot of food. I also got the boneless wings, with Rock and Rye BBQ sauce.
The pizza was great. The dough was just the right thickness, soft and bubbly in the middle with with some crispness to the bottom. Lettuce, tomato, bacon, and mayo are a classic combination, which SkyBox definitely got right.
The boneless wings were also tasty. Customers can pick the type of sauce they’d like, including Tropical Habanero, Sriracha Bourbon, Cajun Rub, Vernor’s BBQ and more. The Rock n Rye BBQ was a great choice, with a sweet cherry cola kind of flavor to it.
Other specialty pizzas include the BBQ Chicken and Skybox Classic with ham, pepperoni, onions, and mushrooms. SkyBox also has sandwiches like the chicken ranch roll-up, Philly steak, slim Jane, and Nashville spicy chicken sliders. There are also burgers and salads, plus classic bar sides like onion rings, loaded baked potato, and sweet potato fries.
Conveniently located with plenty of parking at 2825 E Highland Rd Ste. 133 in Highland Township, guests may enjoy dining in or ordering online through DoorDash. Google does list https://www.skyboxsportsgrill.com as the website, though at the time of this story it seems to be down.
