For Mayor the only name on the ballot will be Ariane Paviani, though current Mayor Bryan Barnett has announced he will be running as a write-in candidate as the City Charter requires candidates to do after two terms in office.

For City Council District 2 there is one seat to be decided. Incumbent David J. Blair is running for re-election, and Nicholas A. Sahu is also on the ballot.
In District 3 Jason Carlock is the only candidate on the ballot.
The Library Board has five candidates vying for two seats. Candidates are: Terry Hetrick, incumbent Madge Lawson, Pamela Olsen, incumbent Chuck Stouffer, and Harper West.

Each year Oakland County Times gives candidates for any office an opportunity to do a video interview. Oakland County Times does not endorse any candidates, and advertising does not imply endorsement. All candidates are welcome to do an interview. Because we do not have a sponsor this year, there is a small production fee. We are looking for a sponsor for our 2024 interview series. Contact editor@oc115.com for more information on sponsorship or scheduling.
