OC Restaurant Quest – Alfoccino Italian Restaurant in Auburn Hills

Auburn Hills, MI – The quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County led to Alfoccino Italian Restaurant in Auburn Hills for a Portabella Tenderloin Italian Flatbread. This thin crusted pizza had fresh portabella mushrooms, spinach, roasted garlic, grilled tenderloin, and mozzarella cheese. It had just the right amount of sauce, and the steak pieces were huge for a pizza. This had a great mix of flavors and was a pretty sophisticated pie.
The Jewish News tells the story of owner Sunny Palaj, who started out as a bus boy that worked his way up to buying a share of the business back in 2003. With a packed dining room and a menu full of culinary options, it is clearly an establishment that’s made it’s mark on the Auburn Hills community.
Other Italian selections include eggplant parmigiana, linguini di moore, perch Diane, jumbo shrimp, homemade lasagna and more. The Italian Flag seems also like an interesting choice, made with portobello stuffed ravioli with creamy pesto sauce, cheese-filled ravioli with Alfredo sauce, homemade Lasagna with meat sauce.
