OC Restaurant Quest: Deadwood Bar and Grill in Northville

Northville, MI – Deadwood Bar and Grill in Northville provides an atmosphere of the outdoors, with amazing food to go along with it. I visited with a friend who ordered the Bleu Cheese Harvest Salad. This gigantic salad is made with Mixed wild greens topped with Traverse City dried cherries, walnuts, bleu cheese, and raspberry vinaigrette, and a serving of bread.
I ordered the Potato Chip Walleye, which was amazing. This mild-tasting fish had a coating of potato chips and cheese, and was served with the kind of fresh-made mashed potatoes that have the skin, and tasty, fresh green beans. It also came with soft, warm bread.
For dessert we had the Fresh Banana Cream Pie, a delightfully layered treat with graham cracker crust, banana pudding, fresh bananas, whipped cream, and caramel sauce.
There are a number of high-quality options in the entree menu, including Shepherd’s Pie, Black and Bleu Filet, Ribeye, Crabcakes, Salmon and Pot Roast. The Buffaloaf, made with buffalo meat and served with mashed potato, grilled onion, grilled mushrooms, and gravy is also a classic Deadwood choice. There are sandwiches and burgers as well – including a Turkey Reuben and BBQ Pulled Pork sandwiches.
