Video: Orion Township Officials Break Ground on Pasadena Pocket Park

Orion Township, MI – On Monday, August 7, 2023, Orion Township dignitaries gathered on a parcel of land on Baldwin Rd. to break ground on a brand new pocket park.
The Passedena Pocket Park project is being made possible thanks to a $25,000 grant from CN Railway in partnership with American in Bloom.
The park will include pathways, trees, benches, and a sensory garden, all features that Orion Township Supervisor Chris Barnett said “is more of a reflection area” than a typical park. There will also be a tribute to the Gingel family, who were among the first to develop the area.
The park is expected to be complete in spring of next year.
