Driver Reports Vehicle Being Shot at on I-75 in Springfield Township
Springfield Township, MI – Michigan State Police are investigating an incident reported on I-75 that left a bullet lodged in the door frame of a driver’s vehicle.
The incident happened at about 7:15 pm as the victim was driving northbound on I-75 near M-15 in Springfield Township.
He told police he had been driving and heard a loud noise, and thought something had struck his vehicle. He reported seeing an older model maroon or red car in the left lane next to him when he heard the noise, and he’d noticed that the back passenger side window had a plastic sheet or garbage bag covering it.
Police are investigating the incident.
