OC Restaurant Quest – Apache Mexican Grill in Oxford

Oxford, MI – Those looking for Mexican food in Oxford might want to check out Apache Mexican Grill at 180 S. Washington Street. In the quest to try every restaurant in Oakland County, I was delighted by this carryout meal.
To get a good sampling, I ordered Combo #3, which came with one Burrito, one Chalupa, and one Taco. I opted for shredded chicken for these items.
I also ordered a Quesadilla Al Pastor. This tasty quesadilla was filled with marinated pork and pineapple and served with rice and guacamole. The meat was flavored sweet and spicy, and went perfectly with the juicy sweetness of the pineapple. I loved this unique dish.
The items in the combo were top notch as well, with quality ingredients and fresh preparation.
I also got fried ice cream for dessert, which of course was delicious.
The menu at Apache Mexican Grill is full of traditional favorites and including fajitas, enchiladas, burritos, and tacos.
Chef’s specials include Molcajete Apache which has steak, chicken, shrimp, and chorizo (Mexican sausage) cooked with ranchero sauce, onion, jalapeño peppers and topped with shredded cheese and served with rice, beans, guacamole salad and tortillas. Other Chef’s specials include the Carne Asada, Bistec con Camarones, and T-Bone Steak.
There are also Tamales, Nachos, Flautas, and even a few salad choices. Check out the menu for lunch specials and combos.
